Higganum Player Wins $2 Million After Dreamy Foreshadow

May 22, 2026

A few days before buying his ticket, one CT Lottery player
had a dream that he won the lottery.

He recalled no specifics from the experience. No game. No
prize amount. But one detail stuck with him: the number 14.

A few days later, the player says he was standing in line at
the Mobil on Killingworth Road in Higganum when the customer in front of him
purchased lottery tickets. When it was his turn, he says he considered buying a
$30 Fabulous Fortune ticket. The new scratch game that launched just last
month.

That decision paid off.

After realizing he had a winning ticket, the player noticed something interesting printed near the bottom: the number 14…the same number he says he remembered from his dream just a few nights ago.

The man described the moment as “lots of mixed emotions…it just doesn’t seem real.”

The winner says he plans to buy a house with the new
winnings.

For selling the winning ticket, Mobil on Killingworth Road
in Higganum, will receive a $20,000 bonus. One of the many benefits of being a
CT Lottery retail partner.

Congratulations to the winner and may the dreams continue to
come true.
