AMBER ALERTS
AMBER Alerts are issued when a child is abducted and believed to be in danger of serious harm or death.
Once a report is confirmed, details are quickly shared through radio, television, and highway signs via the Emergency Alert System (EAS), helping the public assist in the search and safe return of the child.
As part of its commitment to social responsibility, the CT Lottery partners with the EAS to support these alerts. During an AMBER Alert, messages are displayed statewide on approximately 2,800 in-store monitors and 160 lottery vending machines—helping critical information reach as many people as possible.
